Warwick Words History Festival 2020

A very warm welcome to Warwick Words Digital History Festival 2020.

We are sad to say that we are unable to host this year's Warwick Words History Festival as originally planned, as a consequence of the COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings.

The good news is that we are hosting an exciting Digital History Festival, from 5-11 October.

Our special guests include: A C Grayling, Ysenda Maxtone Graham, Paul Lay, Stephen Tomkins, Ben Kane, Kathy O’Shaughnessy, David Reynolds, Pauline Prior-Pitt, Diana Souhami, Annie Gray, Nicholas Milton, James Lloyd and Michael Wood.

We have also put together a programme of talks about Warwick, Soundbites of Warwick, which features fascinating local facts and tales. Our local speakers are: Trevor Langley, Aaron Manning, Anne Langley, Paula Fletcher, David Howe, Graham Sutherland and Adam Busiakiewicz.

Three talks will be released each day of the Digital Festival, starting on Monday 5 October at 10.00am.

We hope you enjoy our alternative History Festival. In the meantime, please stay safe and healthy and we hope very much to see you all again at the Festival next year.
